September 15 - October 15 is Hispanic Heritage Month, celebrating the achievements and contributions of Hispanic-American champions who have inspired others to achieve success.
Are you a PSD Parent, Staff, Community member, or High School Student? Apply to serve on the Technology Advisory Committee for the 24-25 school year by Sept. 20.
This districtwide event will take place at Rogers High from 6 to 8 p.m., allowing staff and families to engage in dialogue with district representatives.

Did you know that two to four missed days in the first month of school increases the likelihood of chronic absence throughout the year?
September is National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, a time to honor the individuals lost to suicide.
Families interested in having their child tested for kindergarten highly capable services are encouraged to submit an online application by Friday, Oct. 4.
Applications approved from the past school year will expire on Tuesday, October 15th, 2024.

Karshner Center
On Saturday, September 21, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., join us for hands-on fun with rocks, fossils, insects and spiders!
- Karshner Museum and Center for Culture & Arts - 309 4th Street NE, Puyallup, WA, 98372
In addition to the museum’s exhibits, we’ll have 3 stations set up to interact with REAL samples. Try your hand at being a geologist, paleontologist, entomologist or arachnologist!
We’ll also have a scavenger hunt around the museum, and an arts and craft activity. The mess stays with us, but the final craft product can come home with you!
